Common problems and solutions of turbine flow meters

       The turbine flow meter uses a multi-blade rotor to sense the average flow rate of the fluid, and deduces the flow or total amount of the meter. It has the advantages of high precision, good repeatability, simple structure, high pressure resistance, wide measuring range, small volume, light weight, small pressure loss, long durability, simple operation and convenient maintenance. It is used for measuring volumetric flow and cumulative amount of cleaning liquid with low viscosity, non-corrosion in closed pipelines. The turbine flow meter can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, organic liquids, inorganic liquids, liquefied petroleum gas, urban gas pipeline network, pharmaceutical, food, paper and other industries. This article gives a summary of the common problems and solutions of turbine flow meter.

    1, No measurement of the table
     (1) When there is no flow rate passed, it is necessary to check the supply pressure and open the valve to adjust the flow rate;
     (2) Check to see if the pipeline flow is greater than the meter's starting flow;
     (3) If the impeller is stuck by dirt, please remove the flow meter, and turn the impeller to remove the welding slag from the pipeline completely.
     (4) If the mounting stress of installation is too large, please reinstall it, and exclude the mounting stress of installation.
    2, No display of the table .
    (1) Check the battery voltage and replace the battery;
    (2) Check the battery plug for any contact failure;
    (3) If it not displayed, replace the circuit board.
    3, Appearance of abnormal noises.
    (1) If the flow rate is too large and exceeds the specified range, the flow rate needs to be adjusted to the specified range;
    (2) If the bearing is damaged or the spindle is deformed, the manufacturer may propose to repair and replace the movement;
   4, Problems in adding turbine oil.
   (1) Loosen the nut connected to the casing and check whether it can be refueled. If the filler pipe in the casing is normally pulled out, pass the dirt;
   (2) If it is abnormal, loosen the other bent nut of the tubing and check if it can be refueled. If it is normal, pass the valve core dirt;
   (3) If it is abnormal, unscrew the nut inside the oil cup and then pass it to ensure normal oiling.
