Overview of the electromagnetic flow meter:

  • Measurement is not affected by the variation of flow density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity. High accuracy measurement is guaranteed according to the linear measurement principle.

  • No obstacle in the pipe, no pressure-loss and lower requirement for straight pipeline.

  • DN 6 to DN2000 covers a wide range of pipe size. A variety of liners and electrodes are available to satisfy different flow characteristic.

  • Programmable low frequency square wave field excitation, improving measurement stability and reducing power consumption.

  • Implementing 16 bits MCU, providing high integration and accuracy; Full-digital processing, high noise resistance and reliable measurement; Flow measurement range up to 1500:1.

  •  High definition LCD display with backlight.

  • RS485 or RS232 interface supports digital communication.

  • Intelligent empty pipe detection and electrodes resistance measurement diagnosing empty pipe and electrodes contamination accurately.

  • SMD component and surface mount technology (SMT) are implemented to improve the reliability.


Main Applications:

        AFTLD electromagnetic flowmeter can be used to measure the volume flow of conductive fluid in a closed pipeline. It is widely applied in the flow measurement and control in the fields of chemical and petroleum industry,

metallurgy industry, water and waste water, agriculture and irrigation, paper making, food and beverage industry and pharmaceutical industry.

Display and push buttons The big screen LCD display with back lighting can display the instantaneous flow ,total flow and percentage of flow as well as alarm display ,four thin-film touch nubs ,which is used to data set .

Output signal Analog output Bi-direction with two ways ,Isolation 0-10mA/4-20mA
Load resistor:0-10Ma;0-1.5KΩ;4-20Ma;0-750Ω
Frequency output Forward & reverse flow output with frequency range set between 1-5000Hz.The external voltage must be lower than 35V and the max output and the max output current is 50Ma when the transistor is turned on
Alarm output Two outputs from the collectors of photoelectric isolate transistors are for alarm signals .The external voltage must be lower than 35V and the max output current is 250Ma when the transistor is turned on.Alarm status:Activates when the measured pipes are empty ,the excitation circuits are broken or the volume of flow rate exceeds the value designed limits.
Pulse output For pulse output in forward and reverse flow measurement ,upper frequency of pulse output can be up to 5000 CP/S relevant value of pulse is from 0.0001 to 1.0 M3/P .The width of pulse can be set to 20ms or squired wave from automatically.The collector of transistor with photoelectric is open circuited.The external voltage must be lower than 35 V and maximum output current is 250Ma when the transistor is turned on .
Accuracy ±0.5% of the value displayed ,±0.3% or ±0.2% are selectable.
Damping time constant Continuous varaiable from 0-100 s (90%)can be selected by group
Communication RS232 ,RS485 or HART Communication are selectable ,with lighting resistance
Power failure An anti-failure clock is designed in the flow meter which can save the power failure records for 16 times (10 years)
Protection class IP65,IP68

Main performances of the liner materials:

PTFE 1.The most steadiest material in plastics which is resistance to boiling hydrochloric acid ,vitriol and aqua regia as well as strong and organic impregnates.
2.Not be perfect in abrasion resistance
Strong corrosive mediums such as strong acid and alkali
PFA Having the same abration resistance with PTFE .Having strong ability of load pressure resistance. Applicable in state of load pressure
F46 1. Having the same abration resistance with PTFE.
2.Resistance for low abration.3.Having strong resistance to load pressure
1.The same as PTFE
2.Applicable in medium of low abrasion
Neoprene Be of good elasticity ,retractility and abration resistance 2.Be resistance to low acid ,alkali and salt but not for oxidation medium Water,sewage and slurry ,mineral serosity of low abration.
Polyurethane 1.Be good of abration resistibility (equal to 10 times of caoutchouc)
2.Not be perfect in acid/alkali resistance
3.Can;t be used for water mixted with organic impregnants
Applicable in mineral serosity ,slurry and coal slurry of high abration.
